Dear Charly,

It was so nice to see you last week at the Pow Wow! THANK YOU SO Much for bringing your guests to enjoy our special day of dancing and celebrating our Native American Culture. We were so blessed with beautiful weather and nice visitors.

Thank you for your generous gift of $700.00. Also, the very generous gifts of art supplies, crafts, swiss chocolates, games, and colored pencils, and other items, are being used and enjoyed by the children at Black Hills Children’s Home.

We have just started a new fiscal year and are in a “belt tightening” mode, as the great majority of our government per diems and contract rates have been frozen.

Even with these financial challenges, we have not cut back on programs or services and we are not planning to do so in the future. There is one big reason for that…friends like you, who are making the difference. Whether its gifts to immediate operations, to build our endowment, to expand facilities, or in-kind gifts such as toys, books, swimming passes, or tickets to a baseball game; we are truly blessed to have so many generous friends who care about these children and provide for their needs.

Children’s Home Society has been helping children for over 116 years, with the support of people like you. Thank you for giving children the opportunity for love, hope and safety.

Sincerely,

Darla Crown
